::Health Insurance Plan

  • Eligible Participants:
    • All active, full-time pastors of the E.C. Church must participate in the insurance plan as administered by the Benefits Corporation. [This insurance coverage is also available to others in related ministries and to part-time pastors employed a minimum of 25 hours of the E.C. Church as outlined in the By-Laws of the Benefits Corporation.]
    • Spouses of eligible pastors and their dependent children until age 18 (or age 23, if full-time students) may also be covered by the insurance plan administered by the Benefits Corporation.
  • Enrollment/application process
    • Open enrollment is one month prior to our renewal date
    • For new employees or changes in family/dependent status (birth, adoption, marriage, death, child no longer a full-time student) these can be made at any time.
    • Contact Benefits Corporation Business Office (1-800-866-7581) for enrollment packet or to notify the Corporation of any change in your family/dependent status.
  • The Board of Trustees annually reviews and selects the insurance plan, sets the annual insurance rates and policies regarding the plan.
  • Premiums are...
    • Paid to the Benefits Corporation
    • Due monthly into the E.C. Church Business Office by the 15th of each month (Premiums are due a month in advance).
    • Premiums are paid by the employing Church, National Conference or denominational Board, Commission or Agency.
    • Contact Benefits Corporation at E.C. Church Center for current rate/premium schedule.
